Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 18 - 34 mph Surf / Sea State: bumpy to flat Air Temperature: 15C Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny and warm Max Speed: 30.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 8 runs! (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
I have come to the harsh conclusion F5 is my limit. The wind peak at 35 MPH
on the gauge when I came in after my ludicrous decision to rig 6.7.
The wind stayed at 14 - 22mph for the 30 minutes I monitored it before
rigging at 12.30 ish Why does it do that?
I then rigged the same as Steve 6.0, whilst Mark stayed on 5.0M yet Steve
and Andy looked mega comfortable all the way, whilst me and Mark struggled.
I swear my arms are now 6" longer!
I just cant hack 5.0 weather, and definitely not on the 125 rocket.
Steve's 38cm Fin was OK thanks, but still too big + the board bounced so
much by back is now shagged. My 117 is on eBay so I daren't use it.
To be honest the conditions were bloody brilliant so I dont understand why
I couldn't hack it. My only positive was I did 30.8kts which was .2 better
than my previous best 30.6.
I think if Steve had borrowed the GPS earlier he would have cracked
30kts.
The conditions were 5***** but I poor:(
